# Migrating from RIZ v1

RIZ v1 markets are being phased out as RIZ v2 launches. This page covers what's changing, which markets are affected, and what action you need to take.

### Overview

Depending on the asset, RIZ v1 markets are moving to one of two destinations:

* **Core Markets** — high-performing assets graduate to Radiant's shared liquidity infrastructure
* **RIZ v2** — remaining isolated markets migrate to the new Morpho-based architecture

Some low-utilization markets will be deprecated without a direct migration path.

### What's Already Happened

**rsETH (Arbitrum) and ezETH (Arbitrum)** have already migrated to Core Markets. If you had positions in these markets, you'll need to manually move them to Core.

**PTwstETH (Arbitrum)** was sunset prior to the v2 migration. No migration path exists for this market. If you still have funds there, withdraw them now.

### What You Need to Do

Markets do not migrate automatically. When a market is deprecated, you must move your position manually.

**Step-by-step:**

#### If you have an active borrow:

1. Go to the RIZ v1 market where you have the position

1. **Repay** your outstanding borrow in full (or enough to safely unwind)
2. **Withdraw** your collateral from the v1 market

1. Go to the corresponding Core or RIZ v2 market
2. **Deposit** your collateral into the new market
3. **Re-borrow** if desired, within the new market's parameters

#### If you only have a deposit (no borrow):

1. Go to the RIZ v1 market
2. **Withdraw** your supplied assets
3. Go to the corresponding Core or RIZ v2 market
4. **Deposit** into the new market

**Before withdrawing**, check your health factor if you have an active borrow. Repay first to avoid liquidation risk.

### Timeline

RIZ v1 will remain accessible for **6 months** from the date of RIZ v2's launch (Arbitrum, March 2026).

During this period:

* Supply and borrow caps will be set to 0 (no new positions can be opened)
* Existing positions remain accessible
* Repays and withdrawals continue to function normally

After the 6-month window, interaction will only be possible directly through the smart contracts.

### Special Cases

**RDNT (Arbitrum)** RDNT will remain available in both RIZ v1 and a new RIZ v2 market. Users can choose where to position. No forced migration.

**PTwstETH (Arbitrum)** This market was already sunset before the RIZ v2 launch. There is no migration path. Withdraw any remaining funds directly from the market or via the smart contract.

### Frequently Asked Questions

**Will my position be liquidated if I don't migrate?** No. Existing positions in v1 remain valid during the 6-month window. However, caps will prevent new positions from being opened, and incentives will be reduced or removed.

**Will RIZ v1 markets still earn RDNT emissions?** Emissions for most v1 markets on Arbitrum will be disabled once RIZ v2 launches. The RDNT/USDC market is an exception.

**Can I migrate to a different asset than the one I held in v1?** You are withdrawing and re-depositing — you choose where to allocate. The migration plan above outlines where each v1 market has a corresponding destination.

**When will v2 launch on Base, BNB, and Mainnet?** Deployments are in progress. Follow the announcements as each chain goes live.
